He is the ultimate form of Mario's arch-villain. Twice the size and twice as powerful as Bowser, Giga Bowser challenges the best fighters in Super Smash Bros Melee.
But how did this monster come into being? Is he the mutated form of Bowser? Or perhaps some all-powerful clone created my Master Hand?

It's Bowser alright but the Master Hand gave him more powers. His oringal body couldn't hold them so his body grew until it can. Smiple as that. *Takes a sip of her coke.*

I would think that the spirit of Bowser's long lost father, King Morton Senior Koopa, has arisen from the dead and mutated with Bowser to form Giga Bowser. After the smashers defeated the gigantic Godzilla-like monster, Giga Bowser was destroyed, sending Bowser back to the Koopa Kingdom and King Morton Senior Koopa back to his ghastly grave.

I believe that giga- Bowser is an all powerful clone crafted from the mutated cells of Bowser. The Master Hand created this being, from skin cells that rubbed off of Bowser when he fought the Master Hand. I agree with Yoshizilla's theory also. About King Morton Koopa Senior.

well, think about it,,,,,,Bowser has never been able to change into some gigantic monstrosity before correct? (although he did get a boost to alter his size and power in paper mario, but not to this extent) Perhaps due to his long hours isolated in the final stage, Bowser was able to tap into a power source unknown to us "legit" players (glares at Bowser,  ) and managed to transform into ..well.. that thing ^ there.
But heres another question for ya.. if he was able to transform into that, could it be possible that he still knows how to transform and is biding his time to use that form again against Mario?..... only time will tell

I think there's a higher power at work here. I believe the same "Dark Entity" who created the Master and Crazy Hands was responsible for this monstrosity. Who ever it may be, and keeping to the fact that you can fight GB with regular Bowser, they must have copied and modified Bowser into this freak of nature. Who ever this "Dark Power" maybe, no doubt through the use of the Hands and GB, his/her goal is no less than the total destruction of the Nintendo World. Hence the theory of a Story Mode for Super Smash Bros. 3 (Revolution).

Master Hand has plagued Bowser with this curse for most of his life, Bowser has grown used to it, but he wasn't aware that Master Hand would transform him again at the smash tournament.

Well, SSBM was just about a little kid imagianing Nintendo trohpies coming to life. Perhaps he got a fanmade Giga Bowser trophey off eBay.

Heres how it happened- Bowser got tired of losing so he wipped up some magic potion Kamek made for him so he kick everyones butt.
Also, Jar Jar is annoying.
